Football

A game of football is very popular all over the world. It is quite a simple game and its rules are very clear. This is the game that is played by two teams of eleven players who try to kick a round ball into an opposite goal. In each team there is a goalkeeper, defenders, mid- players and forwards. A goalkeeper is a player whose duty is to keep the ball out of his own net. He is the only footballer who can touch the ball with his hands. Defenders are responsible for guarding their goal area against attacks from the other side. Although sometimes they do take part in some offensive actions their main task is to try to take the ball from the opponent and pass it to the mid- players. Mid- players and forwards are to construct offensive actions and finally to score a goal. As one can see every player has his own role on the team. The clarity and simplicity of the game are surely the features that make football so fashionable among millions of people from around the world.
